European Peacock Butterfly

European Peacock Butterflies are found in Britain and throughout Europe. Their distinctive "eye-spots" resemble those on a peacock's tail. Flashing these eye-spots deters many enemies, such as birds. This brightly colored print was created from a watercolor original layered with colored pencil detailing. It is hand signed by the Artist.
